Technische Eigenschaften von Maschenfiltern

Filter mesh size - the diameter of the openings in the filtering element (mesh), measured in millimeters. The smaller the mesh size, the smaller particles the filter can retain. Pressure drop across the filter and its rate of fouling will be lower, the smaller the mesh size of the filtering element.

DN of the filter - the nominal diameter of the opening in the connection nozzles. The DN value is used to standardize the size range of pipeline fittings. The actual diameter of the opening may vary slightly in either direction from the nominal value.

PN of the filter - the nominal pressure - the maximum excess pressure of the working medium at a temperature of 20°C at which long and safe operation is ensured.

Pr of the filter - the working pressure - the maximum excess pressure at which the valve can operate continuously at a given temperature. The working pressure value is usually lower than the nominal pressure, so the operating mode at maximum working temperature and nominal pressure of the medium is not allowed.

Kvs of the filter - the coefficient of flow capacity corresponds to the water flow rate, in m³/hr at a temperature of 20°C, at which the pressure drop across the filter is 1 bar. The value of the coefficient of flow capacity of filters is used in hydraulic calculations to determine pressure drop losses.
