Initial gas space pressure - this is the excess pressure in the gas chamber of the expansion tank at the time of delivery. Depending on the operating conditions, the gas space pressure can be increased using a car compressor or reduced by releasing gas through the valve.
Maximum pressure - the maximum excess pressure in the expansion tank at which long-term trouble-free operation is ensured. The pressure of the safety valve installed next to the expansion tank must be less than or equal to the maximum pressure.
Expansion tank volume - the volume of the inner chamber, divided by a hermetic flexible membrane into two parts. The volume of water stored in the tank is always less than the tank's volume, as one half is always filled with gas.
DN - nominal diameter of the connection pipe.
