1.4404/AISI 316L - austenitic stainless steel in sheet form with the addition of molybdenum and low carbon content. It has high resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorides. This plate material is the most common in heat exchangers used in heating and water supply systems.
1.4301/AISI 304 - a low-budget austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content, used for neutral media. AISI 304 is used when the chlorine concentration in the working environment does not require the use of AISI 316 steel. Important! AISI 304 should not be used in heat exchangers for heating water for domestic hot water supply systems.
1.4539/AISI 904L - a super-austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with resistance to corrosion cracking, used for working environments with low acid and chloride content.
1.4547/254 SMO - a super-austenitic stainless steel with increased resistance to concentrated acids and chlorides (up to 100% per thousand chlorides at 50°C).
Hastelloy C276 (alloy) - a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy steel used for concentrated acids.
Titanium ASTM 265 / Titanium-Palladium ASTM 265 - the most corrosion-resistant plate material used with aggressive environments even at high temperatures. Titanium plates are used in heat exchangers that work with seawater at temperatures up to 130°C.
0.4 mm - used when the coolant pressure is not more than 1 MPa (10 bar).
0.5 mm - withstands the pressure of the working medium up to 1.6 MPa (16 bar), the generally accepted standard thickness of plates for heating and water supply systems.
0.6 mm - used for working medium pressures up to 2.5 MPa (25 bar).
EPDM - (ethylene propylene diene monomer) - gaskets are used with water, steam, and working fluids that do not contain mineral oils, with a working temperature range of -30 to +160°C. This is the most common type of gasket used in plate heat exchangers that are used in heating and hot water supply systems.
NBR - (nitrile butadiene rubber) - polymer gaskets are used with water, mineral oils, and petroleum products, with a working temperature range of -30 to +120°C.
FKM / Viton - (fluoro rubber / fluoroelastomer) - elastomers are used for steam and chemically aggressive working fluids with a temperature range of -20 to +200°C. It is characterized by increased resistance to acids, organic solvents, and mineral oils at high temperatures.
