Flanged check valve - this is a direct-acting protective pipeline fitting that allows flow in only one direction.
The flow passage in the check valve is automatically closed by the weight of the disc, the spring force, or a lever-weight mechanism. Depending on the flow direction, the pressure difference between the valve's inlet and outlet overcomes the disc's holding force and opens the passage, or, conversely, presses the disc further against the seat.
Flanged check valves are installed on pipelines that transport water, steam, compressed air, wastewater, and viscous media. All check valves in our catalog can be used for water, but for use with other media, please consult the suppliers.
