Check valve is a direct-acting protective pipeline valve that allows the flow of the working medium in one direction and automatically shuts off the passage in case of reverse flow.
The disc of the wafer check valve is made in the form of a single flat disc or two segments of a disc that block the flow passage. The check valve opens due to the energy of the working medium. If the flow direction coincides with the opening direction, water pressure opens the disc, and in the reverse flow, the water pressure presses the disc against the valve body.
The wafer check valve is installed on pipelines transporting water, steam, and compressed air with a wide range of working pressures and temperatures. All check valves presented in our catalog can be used for water, but the possibility of using them with other working media should be clarified with the suppliers.
