Handing over water meters for commercial accounting is carried out after all installation work on the measuring node has been completed. The procedure for handing over the water meter begins with calling a metrologist, for which a letter is drawn up and sent to the water supply organization with one copy of the agreed project.
On the day the metrologist arrives at the site, a representative of the balance holder and a representative of the installation organization must be present. The metrologist checks the compliance of the installed measuring node with the agreed project and the compliance of the meter serial number with the number specified in the water meter passport.
Afterwards, the water meter is sealed, and a report on the acceptance of the device for commercial accounting is drawn up. The seal number and initial readings are recorded in the report, and from this point on, water consumption calculations are made based on the meter readings.
