Installation of auto bypass valves

Installation of bypass valve should be performed in accordance with the installation instructions and taking into account the recommendations below.

• A strainer filter is recommended to be installed before the bypass valve.
• Pressure gauges should be installed before and after the valve to monitor the activation pressure.
• The bypass valve body should not be subjected to tension, torsion, bending, or compression loads from connected pipelines.
• Different manufacturers provide different data, but on average, it is recommended to maintain straight sections of 5DN before and 10DN after the valve.
• The bypass valve can be installed on a horizontal, vertical, or inclined pipeline, unless otherwise specified in the installation instructions.
