Application area

Gate valves were widely used in heating systems, water supply and sewage pipelines with a diameter of DN50 and above before the appearance of disk shut-off valves and ball valves, but the need for technical maintenance and high cost became the main reason for their abandonment. Despite the fact that most modern gate valves are devoid of previous disadvantages, they are usually installed during the reconstruction of external heating and water supply networks, on steam pipelines with high working temperatures and pressures, as well as on sewage and pipelines with powdery and viscous media.
